Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know before reaching out - and if it isn't here, that's what the free consult is for.
What this work is, and whether it's the right fit.
Sex coaching is practical and forward-focused - it helps you build skills, confidence and communication around pleasure, desire and intimacy. Sex therapy sits within a mental-health framework and focuses on supporting you to develop insight and skills. Both coaching and counselling aim to provide a safe space, and use a talk-based approach to addressing sexual desires and challenges, intimacy issues, and relationship concerns.
Right now, I offer sex & intimacy coaching with my current qualifications as a certified Integrative Sex Coach and Somatic Sex Educator. I'm currently completing further study to become a qualified sex therapist - once that's complete, I'll be able to offer sex therapy alongside coaching. If you're not sure which is right for you, book a free chat and we can talk it through.
Absolutely. It's completely normal to feel curious and nervous at the same time - especially when it comes to talking about something as personal as your sexuality or relationships.
My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and never pressured. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you only need to share what you're ready to share.
If you'd like to get a feel for whether we're a good fit, you're welcome to book a complimentary consultation or start with a single session before deciding whether you'd like to continue.
Book a free consult hereI work with women and people with vulvas who are exploring their relationship with pleasure, intimacy and sexuality (I haven't received training in cis-male sexual health). Whilst I don't currently work with couples, I can support you with your relationship and offer tools and practices to try with a partner. I have a background in working with diverse relationship structures. My space is queer-affirming, trans-friendly and neurodivergent-aware, and I have an extensive experience in supporting people navigating chronic illness, burnout and the mainstream medical model.
I am unable to work with:
❧ Family counselling or relationship breakdown, conflict or infidelity
My expertise lies in sex therapy and sexual wellbeing—not general relationship counselling. If your primary concern is relationship conflict, communication, infidelity, or a relationship crisis, you'll be better supported by a therapist who specialises in couples and relationship counselling.
❧ Acute mental health crisis situations
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, do not wait for an appointment. Contact support services immediately - in Australia you can reach:

Currently I work with individuals only. Whilst I don't work with couples at this time, I can support you with your relationship and offer tools and practices to try with a partner.
What to expect once you begin.
Sessions are client-led and tailored to your goals. We start by getting a clear picture of your challenge or desire, then work at a pace that feels comfortable - combining conversation, education, and gentle embodiment or somatic practices if it suits you. I work to help you make the shifts you're seeking by providing tailored support and resources.
This modality is holistic, trauma-informed, integrative, somatic and underpinned by medical science and sexology. Sessions can be a combination of conversation, education, somatic exploration, self enquiry and practical recommendations. These sessions are offered fully clothed, on zoom.
Embodiment practices and processes might be guided in a session, but these are non-sexual in nature. You may be given genital touch or self-pleasure-related practices as ideas for home practice. There's a strong focus on offering you practical tools, resources recommendations and practices to explore further.
Sessions are followed up with a detailed summary and any additional resources or practices to support your continued growth.
Sexuality has long been shaped by stigma, taboo, and silence, so it's common to feel uncertain about the right words or how to describe your experiences. For this reason I have added some extra examples below.

- Body confidence and shame
- Mismatched desire and intimacy with a partner
- Nervous system regulation, burnout and disconnection
- Pleasure anatomy, communication and consent
- Reconnecting with your body after a difficult chapter
Common client aims include:
- ❤️ Own your self-confidence & trust yourself deeply
- 🩷 Break free from limiting stories & reclaim your worth
- 🧡 Activate your inner resources & build lasting nervous system resilience
- 💛 Release shame & outdated sexual conditioning
- 💚 Embrace your evolving sexuality through transitions like motherhood, menopause, or gender transition
- 💙 Awaken your full pleasure potential & release what holds you back
- 🩵 Fall in love with your body & radiate unshakable confidence
- 💜 Understand your desire & arousal so you can fully own your sexual expression

Whilst meaningful change can sometimes happen in just one session, sexual wellbeing, relationships, and intimacy are complex, lasting change comes from effective learning, support and practice - which can take time. That said - my aim is to empower you with the tools, insight, and practical strategies to build lasting sexual wellbeing and fulfilling intimacy. Whilst my work efficiently sets clients up for long-term success, the clients who make the most progress are those who engage fully in the process.
Success, to me, is when you no longer need my support because you have the confidence and skills to thrive on your own. It all depends on your unique journey and goals, some clients only need one or two sessions, while others have the capacity or desire for deeper work over 10-15 sessions.
Note; It's completely natural to feel hesitant discussing such personal topics with someone you've just met. Building comfort and connection is an important part of the process, which is why many people find it takes a few sessions before they feel fully comfortable opening up. As that comfort grows, so too does the opportunity for deeper insight, meaningful growth, and lasting change.
No. Sex coaching is a bottom-up talk-based therapeutic service. Sessions involve conversation, education, and evidence-based embodied and somatic exercises - there is no physical or sexual contact between practitioner and client and clothing remains on.
Your privacy is very important to us. What's shared in our sessions stays between us. There are a small number of legal exceptions around safety, which I'll walk you through clearly before we begin working together - so you always know exactly where you stand.
I understand that discussing intimate and personal experiences takes courage, and creating a safe, confidential space is a fundamental part of my practice. Your privacy is treated with the utmost care in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
